  • Parent Governor Vacancy

    We have a vacancy for a parent governor to serve on the school’s local governing body.

    Parent governors are elected by other parents and are vital to our governing body.  Being a school governor is both a rewarding and challenging experience.   Governors provide strategic leadership and work in partnership with the headteacher and senior leaders in schools to ensure that every child gets the best possible education. The demands on governors and governing bodies have changed dramatically in recent years and it is more important than in the past that a strong and knowledgeable governing body brings a range of skills and experience to support the school.

  • Your Views Matter - Parent Survey

    As a school we always value the opinions of our parents. We would be grateful if you could spend a little time to tell us how you feel about our school by completing our annual parent and carers’ questionnaire.

    The survey includes 12 multiple choice questions, followed by a comments box where you may add further information if you wish. All questionnaires are anonymous and treated in complete confidence.

    Following analysis, results will be reported to Governors, Parents and Staff as statistics.

  • Admissions Consultation

    Church Hill Infant School Academy is carrying out a consultation on our admissions arrangements and is seeking your views on the proposed changes.

    The consultation will run for six weeks from Monday 2nd October 2017 will end on Monday 20th November 2017. 

    A copy of the consultation documentation is attached below, paper copies can be obtained from the school office upon request.

  • Comic Relief - Fri 24th Mar 17

    Published 22/03/17

    On Friday 24th March 2017 we will be helping to raise money for Comic Relief, by asking children to bring in their favourite jokes or sketches to have a mini comedy festival in the classroom for a suggested donation of £1.

    We would like to offer children the opportunity to come into school in non-uniform if they wish to. However, there is no need to purchase any special outfits or t-shirts.

    If your child would like to take part please bring in a donation towards the Comic Relief charity.

  • School meals have become smarter...

    We have some new plates for our school meals, not only do they look great, they are also helping us learn our timestables while we eat...  We will soon have a school full of Einsteins and Vordermans!
