  • Please will you help me?

Sometimes the children find it hard to cut their food up. Teachers or dinner ladies are always in the hall to help the children cut up tricky foods, modelling good skills to the children.

  • Keeping Hydrated

We have a cup of water with our lunch. The dinner ladies serve us and we have to remember our 'please' and 'thank you'.

We teach our children all about healthy eating, and every meal is served with fresh vegetables or salad. The children have a fruit option for pudding.

We allow the children to talk to their friends in the hall and enjoy lunchtimes as a 'social time'.

  • Please may I have my pudding?

We encourage the children to try a little bit of everything on their plate. If they don't like it that is OK, so long as they have had a go!
